Miss Fuzzy and her true love: Music


Almost since Fuzzy’s senses first burst into life, music has been pulsating through her veins, as a channel through which to enjoy lively moments with friends, filled with dance and laughter. It's when you ask her what’s hiding behind her artist name that she responds: “It's about a warm fuzzy style, friends, and music. It's about being crazy, wild and pure, sensual and celebratory.”  Living Fuzzy style means discovering pleasure and celebrating life. Her motto is " don't stare at me, be fuzzy!" It’s when she first landed at an illegal underground party, in some abandoned and decaying hospital, that the first techno beats caught her attention.

Miss Fuzzy's passion for music was not to remain as just a hobby. After cracking the financial world with a successful career, she decided that DJing would allow her to fulfil her lifestyle at all levels. Eager to learn, she took inspiration from the young talent she met at TWSTd, one of the local techno hot-spots in Amsterdam. She knows perfectly well how to deal with this boys techno world. This girl is happy to tackle her way through. Her massive, bouncing sound, fused with a hypnotising bunch of up-tempo threads, power straight through every set.

Miss Fuzzy's defining moment up to now, has been her participation in the TWSTd DJ contest 2010; the biggest in Benelux. During this competition, Fuzzy, as the only female DJ, battled her way to the finals, knocking out more than 160 DJs and 60 round. She held her own right through the finals. Around this same period, the biggest desert festival in the world, Burning Man, held in the middle of the Nevada desert, was lucky enough to snap her up. There she stood between billions of sand grains and a very special crowd, fueling up their insatiable hunger for her powerful sound. An unforgettable experience, with her journey continuing through to other cool venues across the U.S.

On Dutch grounds Miss Fuzzy has been a resident for DJ Indeep and Dance label, a weekly party at Korsakoff. Right now she is resident at Code21, Hooft and is regularly booked up via her bookings agency Switch Music. Her Fuzzy sound has also been played out at Fabrieksfout, From Nijmegen with Love, Amsterdam Dance Event parties, Sonne Mond Sterne en Tuig. Miss Fuzzy has now decided to manage her own nights at THE best underground venue in Amsterdam, BNKR. With this unique party spot she wants to bring amazing artists together, from a combination of the best known labels from around the world, alongside new and up-coming talent.
